BioCreAtIvE II - Publications

WORKSHOP PROCEEDINGS AND POSTERS
We will solicit papers and poster submissions for the workshop; all participating groups will be given a poster slot. Reviewed papers will be selected for presentation at the workshop by a Program Committee.
Those who submit a workshop paper will have their submission results de-anonymized in the analysis of the results, and by submitting a paper, groups imply a willingness to be associated with their submission results.
After the workshop, the gold standard data for the GN and GM tasks will be posted on the sourceforge site along with the anonymized submissions and task descriptions for all the tasks.


JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS
As was the case in the first BioCreAtIvE challenge we intend to publish a selected number of peer-reviewed articles from participating teams in a special issue of a regular journal. In case of the previous BioCreAtIvE edition, articles were published in a special supplement of the journal BMC Bioinformatics (impact factor 5.42). In case of the Second BioCreative we will target a high impact journal for the selected number of peer-reviewed articles.

Information on the selected journal for the Biocreative publications, format, as well as submission deadline and basic selection criteria will be provided.
